Casa Jaguar provides a comfortable, centrally located base from which to explore the quaint village of Copan Ruinas, the nearby archeological site, museums, Spanish language schools and other attractions. Everything is just a short walk from Casa Jaguar.

This inviting village residence has all the amenities, and is located in a quiet neighborhood 5 blocks from the Parque Central and close to all restaurants, cafes, museums, shops and village market. The home is fully furnished and boasts sturdy, local artisan produced furniture and is tastefully decorated with handcrafted touches. The home is sparkling clean and very cozy.

Casa Jaguar sleeps 5 and offers guests 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed, closet, night table and reading lamp, ceiling fan, a/c, bathroom w/ hot water, full kitchen w/ all appliances & utensils, purified water, breakfast bar, dining area, living room w/ single sofa bed, color tv w/ cable, DVD player & library. Travel & Maya culture reference library, front porch w/ hammock and laundry washing facilites.

The refrigerator is stocked with an assortment of beer, soft drinks, mineral water, white wine and champagne and the kitchen has a supply of freshly ground, locally sourced, organic coffee, all available at a moderate charge.

Daily maid service is included in rate. We provide all linens, towels, bath soap, blankets and quilt.

Copan Ruinas is a lovely mountain village of 10,000 inhabitants. Situated at an altitude of 1,800 ft, Copan boasts a near perfect, average year round temperature of 78F. Located 1 mile from the archeological site of Copan, the ruins are world famous for being one of the most spectacular of all Maya Classic Period sites.
